Dear friends,
I wanted to highlight a very important aspect. Normally we keep on issuing and submitting our KYC documents (Proofs like Aadhar Card, PAN Card, License etc.) to different people.
We submit these documents to buy a home or car or other loans, bank accounts, or even a new SIM card.
In all these places they demand self-certification on these documents. We immediately sign and hand over those documents.
Just imagine that your self-attested copies are freely available in the hands of such persons and those documents can be used by them for everything!
For example: Your aadhar/pan card/bsnl bill goes into the hands of a terrorist, he can misuse it to buy sim in your name and you can be arrested for having terrorist link
This is really serious and it has been observed that in most of the terrorist activities, KYC documents are obtained from SIM card vendors.
Therefore, please inculcate the 'habit' of writing down the date and purpose for which you are submitting the self-attested KYC documents so that those documents cannot be used again.

इन सभी जगहों पर वे इन दस्तावेजों पर सेल्फ सर्टिफिकेशन की मांग करते हैं। हम तुरंत उन दस्तावेजों पर हस्ताक्षर करते हैं और सौंप देते हैं।
ज़रा सोचिए कि आपकी स्व-प्रमाणित प्रतियां ऐसे व्यक्तियों के हाथों में स्वतंत्र रूप से उपलब्ध हैं और उन दस्तावेजों का उपयोग उनके द्वारा हर चीज के लिए किया जा सकता है!
उदाहरण के लिए: आपका आधार/पैन कार्ड/बीएसएनएल बिल एक आतंकवादी के हाथ में चला जाता है, वह आपके नाम से सिम खरीदने के लिए इसका दुरुपयोग कर सकता है और आपको आतंकवादी लिंक होने के कारण गिरफ्तार किया जा सकता है
यह वास्तव में गंभीर है और यह देखा गया है कि अधिकांश आतंकवादी गतिविधियों में, केवाईसी दस्तावेज सिम कार्ड विक्रेताओं से प्राप्त किए जाते हैं।
इसलिए, कृपया जिस तारीख और उद्देश्य के लिए आप स्व-प्रमाणित केवाईसी दस्तावेज जमा कर रहे हैं लिखने की 'आदत' पैदा करें ताकि उन दस्तावेजों का दोबारा उपयोग नहीं किया जा सके।
